Customer Service. Phil has
over 20 years in state service.
In this time he has served
in several agencies in various
areas of management of the
information technology function.
In this position Phil is accountable
for working directly with all
areas of the executive branch
to ensure high quality workplans
and detailed budgets for IT
services are developed and
delivered.
Linda Nelson has
been appointed Assistant Director,
Agency Customer Service. In this role she oversees the IT initiatives for several state agencies: the Departments of Revenue, Labor and Training, and Business Regulation. Linda came to the State in October 2006 with more than 20 years of IT experience in Banking, Insurance, and Retail. She has successfully fulfilled a variety of roles within IT, including application development, training, corporate IT liaison and project manager. Her
previous employer was MetLife.
Alan Dias has been appointed Assistant Director, Agency Customer Service. Alan has 21 years in state service, having spent 19 of those 21 years with the Department of Administration. He has worked with numerous state agencies and departments in supporting their information technology needs. Alan has a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Rhode Island College and a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Rhode Island. In this role, Alan will oversee information technology at the Department of Administration, Department of Environmental Management, Department of Transportation and the Department of Corrections.
