Application Development

The Application development groups are responsible for providing application software development and support to state agencies. The staff of programmers, analysts, and database administrators utilizes an extensive array of tools to offer a variety of services. Application development staff is located both locally in the Agencies and centrally at the Division of Information Technology. 

Services for application development can be coordinated through your Agency IT Manager or your Assistant Director of IT.  New projects requiring application development must first be approved through the Project Review Committee(PRC).  On-going support for existing applications can be coordinated through your Agency IT Manager.

The Division of IT provides the following application development services:

  1. Database Administration –(SQL, DB2, Oracle, Informix, Sybase)
  2. Mainframe Programming (COBOL, Easytrieve)
  3. Web Site creation
  4. Personal Computer and Mini Computer  Programming
